I vote for an ordiance to keep them 500 feet out of village
Vistamoor has an 1800 foot wetland in the middle of their property that they are not developing. put the "green" route (phw, haskins, conroy) there. it would be 500 plus feet from any housing in the new vistamoor developement as well as from those folks on 208 and purple heart way.

Mayor Brescia has changed his mind, yet again, with regard to his support for or against the power line running behind Purple Heart way. Beware of local politicians who change their stand frequently, they dont have your best interest at heart, merely the best vote, or most vote they can get at the moment. Same with Roepe, he was against the power lines behind Purple Heart Way at first, and now he too has changed his view. Election day must be coming.
Tomkins folks will now have the power lines they bought PLUS the high power transmission lines behind their homes (see the map, click it to enlarge, they go 20 feet off the back yard of those homes at the end of the loop). There has to be a better solution.
Mayor, why dont you protect ALL your village residents, not just a select few? Write an ordinance to keep it 500 feet away from the village, then the PHW/Conroy/Haskins - your newest village residents and highest tax payers are safe too.
